To round off this mini-course, I'll demonstrate a phrase that Mark King has grown fond of over the past 7 or 8 years or so.

Predominantly used in solos, it utilizes popped 10ths a lot. To Mark King fans, it will be instantly recognizable. Refer to the video and tab/notation, then perform the following:

Slapped Open E-String, muted open E-String, dead string popped G-String, Slap Hammer-On A-String 4th to 5th fret, muted open E-String, dead string popped G-String, muted open A-String, Slapped open A-String, popped Hammer-On G-String 4th to 6th Fret, two muted E-String 3rd Fret, slapped E-String 3rd Fret, popped G-String 4th Fret, slapped open D-String, strummed open D-String with G-String 2nd Fret.

A nice way to round off this little course, and fun phrasing to use in any solo!
